Cortewalle Castle
Cortewalle Castle is a beautiful 15th century moated castle situated in a vast park of 10 ha in the heart of Beveren. This building has a rich history. In the 15th century it was inhabited by the principals of the famous brothers Van Eyck and later, in the 1960s, it was used as the setting for the famous series "Kapitein Zeppos".
Afterwards, you can relax in the park where there is always something to do! Discover the special bee garden or enjoy a delicious picnic and a game of kubb! In the 18th century coach house with orangery you can always have a drink and a snack.

Hof ter Saksen
The Hof ter Saksen domain is one of the few closed park woods in the Land van Waas. The magnificent 18th-century castle is the absolute showpiece of the park as it was restored to its former glory. Visit the magnificent arboretum, where you can discover a large collection of trees and plants from China & Japan. You can also take a pleasant walk through the nature garden, orchard and stream valley!
There is also a play forest for the little ones.

Fort Liefkenshoek
Be surprised by this valuable heritage gem amidst industry and beautiful nature. This fort is one of the oldest in Flanders. It was first used at the end of the 16th century and has long been of great importance for the control of shipping. Experience the history in an interactive experience centre. Visit the cosy tavern and walk along the dyke to spot the many ocean giants from all corners of the world!
